At home in the church, the classroom, and the workplace

Dr. Deborah Sandlin has spent more than two decades working where people, rules, and relationships meet. She began her career as a paralegal and spent about seven years teaching Paralegal Studies, preparing students for work in the legal field. Today she serves as a Compliance Analyst, helping organizations do the right thing and do it well.

She also kept learning. She holds a master's degree in Conflict Management and a doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice, and she now serves as a Doctoral Advisor at Trevecca Nazarene University. When called upon, she also teaches with the Naifeh Center at the University of Tennessee.

Her calling runs through all of it. A longtime member of Olive Branch Church, she is an ordained minister and serves as an Associate Minister and chairman of the Ministerial Alliance. In 2020 she founded We Are One Ministry, a weekly Bible study grounded in learning, growing, and walking in the light of God's Word.

Whether she's speaking to a congregation or a corporate team, her message is the same: unity is possible, God is our strength in every season, and it's never too late to finish what you started.
